Here are three videos of the babies. Above is, I think, the funniest. Below is a great example of Megan working on perfecting her gurgle.
Below is 6 minutes in the lives of tow 4 month olds. Just six minutes of total cuteness. =)

I feel like every morning the house looks like a bomb went off. Around 2pm I've got everything looking great and then by night time, voila....it's out of control again. How does this keep happening? I feel like all I do is feed babies, change diapers, and pick up. I'm actually posting this 5 months after the pictures were taken, but nothing has changed in terms of the house. If you have any question as to how I've gotten SO behind on the blog....well, this is PART of the answer.

Back to Camp Hyatt to the retreat with BCG. Kate had so much fun last year that she has been talking about it literally all year long. She mostly loved the Kids Camp, but definitely lots of other fun things as well. She loved the pony ride last year, and so we signed her up to do it again. I looked up her pictures from last year and honestly, she looks pretty much the same! A different green shirt, but the same helmet and still stall and skinny. This is last year:
And this year:
Who knew we leaned toward green for a horse ride? =)
She still loved it just as much as she had the year before.
After her pony ride, she played around with the babies before getting ready to go to the Kids Camp.
The babies first official trip!!
The babies the spent most of their time in the hotel room sleeping. =) We are on a tight schedule. Have I talked about their schedule? Some other time....
While Kate went to the Kids Camp, Mike, the babies and I went to the BCG costume dinner. The theme was to dress up as a movie character or actor. I wasn't sticking around since the babies had to get to bed, but I did want to see some of the costumes, and they didn't disappoint. WOW!! Below is Tony Portera as Superman. Easy and looked great!
This baby yoda costume was awesome!
Beyonce and Jay Z with a little League of their Own in the background. Liam went as Peter from Office Space.
Anne was Paris Hilton hanging out with Kim Kardashian
I think Lady Gaga won for the Best Costume
But the Avatar guys were pretty impressive as well.
Not to be outdone painting themselves blue, the Smurf were there too.
Juno was drinking even in her 9th month of pregnancy....
The Castaway with Wilson the Volleyball...
This guy was not dressed up....but everyone agreed he looked A LOT like Brad Pitt....weird!!
And Mike was tough guy, Indiana Jones!
Looks like it was going to be a great party! Next year I'll get a babysitter!!

Admittedly, I am SO behind on this blog, that it's time to just post away, even if I can't find my 4 month notes. When and if I ever do, I'll just go back in time and add them. As for now, here are their 4 month pictures!
Megan still spits up a lot. Randomly....all the time....
Kate continues to be a great big sister!
Liam's head continues to cave in at his soft spot. And pulsate. It's freaky.
He is very big in comparison to Megan, and even skinny minny Kate!
Very typical cabbage patch Liam face. =)

While I was looking for the picture CD that I bought of Kate's school pictures from this day, I realize that I currently can't find it. But in the meantime, I did find this school picture from November 2010. When I find her very adorable pictures from THIS day, I will post them!
After school, Kate and I went to Willow Bend Mall for some reason or another, and took these pictures.
And while Kate was at school today, Jen helped me to finally make Megan & Liam's name's for their room. I think they turned out great!

Liam caught word that Megan rolled over yesterday and seeing all the excitement that surrounded it, he decided that he too could perfomr such tricks and rolled over for the first time today! Way to go babies!!!

Turns out that Mike was out of town today for our 7th anniversary, but we will celebrate this weekend. Still SEVEN years! Seven years and three kids in our second house together! Life is good.
Today was also the first day that Megan rolled over!!! I was at a playgroup with the babies when Megan just rolled over all by herself (from front to back) and there were witnesses! I tried to capture it again on video (Seen above), but I had a slight assist for that one. She quickly got the hang of it and rolling over became easy as pie within a couple of days! Ok, now it's Liams turn!!!

Kate was happy to help Jinni celebrate her birthday in a place we'd never been before, Kreative Kids. All the girls got to dress up as fairy princesses and the boys were pirates and peter pans. There was a lot of pretend play and exciting activites for the kids. Below, Kate is in the back on the left wearing purple.

Abigail Lohmann's birthday party was so much fun! As we entered, Kate spotted this pony and without haste, Kate was making the rounds on her pony ride!
I was able to convince her to go indoors where it wasn't 110 degrees outside. She had a great time blowing bubbles and coloring, but.....
as soon as she heard that there was miniture golfing to be done, she was out there sinking her puts. Note that we were the ONLY ones out there.....as I'm not kidding about the temperature! you think you see someone in the background, but that's just a statue of a pirate.
I was so hot that I had zero interest in giving her any kind of real instruction. I was just eager to wrap up and get back to the air conditioning! So ya, she's holding it all wrong....so be it! =)
Below you can see a bit of how red her face got in the heat. This is after the red started to dissopate also.....it had been beet red on initial departure from our game of mini golf.
Not that she cared. She tossed on the blindfold and tried to pin the chick on the.....? Not sure where it was supposed to go, but she had fun!
Happy Birthday Abigail! You know how to throw a great party! Next time just make sure the temperature outdoors is dialed down a notch! ;)
We went right from Abigail's party to a play date with Kate's classmate, Anna. Planet Pizza remains a lot of fun for Kate though we definitely don't get there very much anymore.
Kate's become much more daring over the years.
So much so that she even willingly jumped on to the crazy loud ship swing. A definite first!
Hmmm.......that's sort of the reaction I was expecting.....
But believe it or not, by the end of it....
She'd warmed up to it!
Not that she had any interest in riding it again....!!! Megan and Liam were there too! In their own little personal roller coaster!
Busy Busy days!!

I finally got around to hiring someone to help me in the "crazy hours". I knew I should have done this awhile ago, but I can be proud that I managed 3 months without hiring day help! Although, after hiring Jen, I find that I'm getting a lot of relief. Who knows why, but I can't stand to was bottles.....and now I have M-F help with that! She also helps me feed, change, and entertain the babies and Kate! Jen comes here right after she gets done working at our Pediatritian's office, which is where I met her! And she stays until 8:30 which is Kate's bedtime. I'm really looking forward to getting into a better routine and keeping everyone happy and well fed!
Side note, Megan scooted across the room today somehow. I didn't see it, but she did go from one end to the other.....hmmmm......I wouldn't not call this crawling, but I guess she's on the move!) =)

Uncle TIm doesn't often hold babies, but he was a natural with the twins as he was with Kate when she was a baby too! Liam slept peacefully in his arms....while Meg worked on escaping her swaddle on the sofa.
And Kate worked on her long vowel "e".
Once the babies were in bed, Kate convinced us to play "Paper Dolls".
See what I mean about him being a good sport? =)
After paper dolls, we played a hilarious game of Apples to Apples.
Nana was tired and ready to go home before the rest of us were ready to call it a night, so we may have kept turning the clock back on her to make her think it was earlier than it was. Sorry mom, but we had a great time, right?? =)

I don't have a picture, but today was Megan and Liam's first official "fight". Both babies wanted to play with the same toy and kept taking it from each other, causing some screeches and tears. This was pretty monumental in my opinion. The beginning of many disagreements, but also the start of them really physically interacting with each other. They will be best friends and also I'm sure there will be plenty of scuffles! Here we go!

Kate and I took Uncle Tim to see a Rangers game tonight. And even though it was over a hundred degrees (at night!!!) we had great seats that were right where the wind blew non-stop and kept us somewhat "cool".
Strawberry slushies help too. And not that cotton candy helps with the heat, but it does help somehow!!
We had a GREAT time and it didn't hurt that the Rangers whipped the Orioles!

Kate remembered her bobsled ride from Eric's last visit and she kept asking over and over when she'd get another one. Tonight was the night! The video below is a must click. First, they hold on to the bobsled, count to three in German while pushing it back and forth and then...Kate jumps in while it starts to go.
And the fun is on!
Eric knows how to make a fun and fast bobsled through the living room.
I think they took Gold!!!
It's so short, you might as well click on it!

We seem to love throwing 4th of July parties! Mike loves to grill, I love to decorate in red, white and blue and we have a pool this year so it just seemed inevitable! We had lots of great friends over! Above Amy and Tyler Baker said hello to Megan.
Aunt Dorene and my mom were big helps with watching the babies while I ran around like a crazy person.
Lou Ann with her parents below braved the heat outdoors.
The Moyles rolled up the street and brought their sweet Kaitlyn who was dressed very festively.
Eric bounced from inside to outside.
Mike was the grillmaster of course.
And there was a tasty spread inside too, which Ellie Boyle took part in.
This is the dessert table. I made white chocolate dipped strawberries redipped in blue sprinkes. Amy brought delicious lemon squares and Janet brought homemade peach cobbler! There were also cookies, mini lemon cakes, cupcakes and...
the world's cutest hamburger cupcakes from Target!
Amy was a fan!
Time to eat babies! L-R - Lila &Tyler, Isabelle & Amy, Nana & Liam, Mike & Meg
Liam and Isabelle still seem to hit it off.
Mike is brave to hold Meg this way right after eating.
Uncle Tim!
Lots of great embarrasing pictures of Amy. =)
Soña
and her daughter Andrea! (Kevin was there also, just not pictured anywhere.)
Terry Brunenn, Uncle Tim, Mike:
And of course, time to swim! The babies first time in the pool proved a success!
Mike and I switched off babies, while Eko snapped photos.
With the exception of being tossed in the air.
The Baker girls hit up the pool as well.
Kate spent MUCH time in the pool.
As did most of the kids. Will and Ellie in the spa, Terry, Colin and Kate in the pool:
Andrea, Kate, Soña and Haylee (pregnant with Matthew!!!)
The babies tried to stay up the whole time....
But they were pooped.
Have I mentioned that Liam is a thumb sucker? The cutest thumbsucker ever!! (I NEVER EVER thought I'd allow this from a kid, but you know....it makes him happy!)
Happy Fourth of July everyone, and especially to Liam and Megan. They celebrated their first one full throttle!

Hear Liam speak his mind....
If I thought I was embarrassing trying to get Liam to laugh, check out the sounds of Kate....although she actually succeeded pretty well. She does sound pretty crazy.

We had a little surprise for Kate today.....now that the HOA FINALLY approved our play fort, we had it built without Kate ever knowing about it.
She was pretty excited....
And she jumped right in to explore it!
Megan had to try it too! (Kidding.....she did NOT really go down the slide....)
Kate screamed out, (literally) "THANK YOU FOR THIS MOM AND DAD!!! I LOVE MY PLAYGROUND!! THAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANK YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOU!!!!!"
She screamed it a few times. =)
We had to share the fun with the Brunenn's!
I LOVE that we can produce this much happiness on our daughter's face!
Uncle Eko, Terry and Mike were all there.
And a fun game was devised. Throw the nerf soccer ball into the playset and try to get it down the slide.
This house continues to brighten our lives! Yay for a big side yard!

Why is she taking a photo of a Longhorn you ask? Well, I was just following in my brother, the photographer's footsteps. He loves to take pictures of nearly anything and everything. He particularly asked if there were any live animals around. Voila! It's Texas baby! Of course there are Longhorns within a 5 mile radius!!
